Broadening our mission
What changes can you expect?
FAQs
Why are you changing your name and brand identity?
The new name Sustainability Reporting Institute reflects our evolving mission. As sustainability reporting regulations, standards, and stakeholder expectations grow more complex and global, we want our name and identity to better represent what we do: deliver credible, expert‑led training and certification that is inclusive, rigorous, and fully aligned with current and emerging global standard‑setting. The name “Sustainability Reporting Institute” more clearly communicates our focus and ambition.
What will remain the same versus what is changing?
What stays the same: our core values, our commitment to quality, our service delivery team, and our robust certification training programmes. What changes: our visual identity (logo and colours), brand name, messaging and how we present ourselves - this will include a refresh of our certificates, marketing collateral, and content to match our new brand identity. We will also be offering a more extensive range of training courses, resources, and learning opportunities.
Will this affect existing certifications, courses, or relationships?
No. All existing certifications, ongoing courses, and current customer relationships remain valid and unaffected. Certificates already issued continue to be recognised. Our processes, customer support, and quality standards remain the same. When new certificates or documents are issued, they will carry the new brand identity.
When will the Sustainability Reporting Institute launch, and how long is the transition period?
The Sustainability Reporting Institute will officially launch in March 2026. Over the following weeks, you’ll start to see updates across our communication channels including email and LinkedIn.
Will your services, pricing, or terms change?
No changes are planned to our service levels. Pricing and terms of service remain as before, unless communicated separately. If any changes are required in the future, they will be clearly communicated in advance.
Will my learning portal / account details / access change?
Your access, login credentials, and learning portal functionality will remain the same for the CSRD Institute where you can continue to access all of your courses, download resources and obtain your certificates. We will continue to monitor the proposed Omnibus I Package developments and keep you updated on the latest information regarding your CSRD and/or VSME Standard courses.
How will you handle the change to the new Sustainability Reporting Institute in all your communications and materials?
We have a phased rollout plan. On launch date, all high‑visibility customer touchpoints (website, email signatures, LinkedIn, certificate templates) will switch to the new branding. Other materials will be updated as they come up for refresh or revision. We will also provide guidance and updates about expected changes for our community to anticipate.
Do I need to take any action because of the change to the Sustainability Reporting Institute?
No immediate action is required on your part. However, when the new Sustainability Reporting Institute platform is live, the course materials, certificates and other marketing materials will reflect the new brand. If you use older collateral or certificates in external communications, you may wish to note the name change for clarity. Also, please update your records, bookmarks, and any references you control (e.g. email signatures) where you refer to us, so that the new brand is cited.
What benefits will the Sustainability Reporting Institute bring to me?
With the new Sustainability Reporting Institute, you will have access to an expanded range of training courses and learning content designed to deepen your understanding of global sustainability reporting standards. Furthermore, it will strengthen the trust and visibility of the Sustainability Reporting Institute on a global scale, ensuring that you are aligned with a reputable and recognised organisation in sustainability reporting education. Over time, this should help you when reporting to regulators, investors, or stakeholders who expect reliable and current sustainability reports.
