Our courses place a strong emphasis on utilising videos as the primary learning tool, supported by a diverse range of supplementary materials to enhance the learning experience. Are there materials to download and study independently?
Study Notes and Lesson Slides are available to download and save for all of our courses. You can also continue to download any resources that are added throughout the 12 months of your course access and save them for the future.

How do I enrol on a course with the CSRD Institute?
Getting started with the CSRD Institute is simple!
If you have already registered for our free CSRD Fundamentals (Level 1) course, you can log in to your profile and choose the next level course that best suits your needs via the ‘My Courses’ area in your dashboard. Once the payment process is complete, you will receive immediate access to the course you have chosen and it will be displayed in the ‘My Courses’ area.
If you have not yet registered for one of our courses, you can enrol directly on the course level that best suits your needs here.
What is the difference between your Level 2 and Level 3 courses?
CSRD Advanced is our Level 2 course that provides a comprehensive analysis of each of the core elements of the CSRD. It is aimed at workers at all levels within an organisation who require a thorough understanding of all aspects of the CSRD, but are not responsible for writing the sustainability reports. It takes approximately 6 hours to complete.
CSRD Professional is our Level 3 course and as our most comprehensive training course, it is very well suited to experienced sustainability professionals who are looking for in-depth knowledge about all aspects of the CSRD. This course sees particular interest from sustainability professionals responsible for CSRD reporting in their organisation, and also sustainability consultants who provide expert advisory services to clients and require advanced knowledge and practical tools in the CSRD. It takes approximately 8-10 hours to complete.
Do I need to complete a course in one day?
You can complete any of our courses at your own pace and convenience, and you have 24/7 access over a 12-month period to complete the course.
Do I need to complete Level 2 before I proceed to the Level 3 course?
It is not a prerequisite to complete Level 2 and you can proceed directly to the Level 3 course if you wish.
Are examinations required for the completion of certification Level 2 or Level 3?
There are no examinations required for completion of our courses. All of our courses include Knowledge Checks in the form of quizzes throughout as part of a continuous assessment design.
What type of assessment is used in your courses?
All of our courses are fully online and include Knowledge Checks in the form of quizzes throughout the course as part of a continuous assessment design. The quizzes are short and succinct, and you have an unlimited number of attempts. Upon successful completion of the course, you receive a Certificate of Completion.
In addition, you have 12 months access to a course so you can re-visit any aspect of the course and resources at any time during this period.

Are the courses online modules or live with an instructor?
The courses themselves are delivered entirely through self-paced online learning modules. Each module features several lessons, a number of Knowledge Check MCQs to assess comprehension, a practical demonstration relevant to the module's content (e.g. Analysing the DMA reporting process of a company), and often additional text-based guides and resources.
